Michael K. Rathel is a

Prior to establishing my own law practice I garnered
professional experience as a former prosecutor for the State
Attorney's Office, 9th Judicial Circuit, a former mediator and
trainer for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office and associate
for a private law firm. My educational background includes
a law degree from Pepperdine University's School of Law (1997)
and graduation from its Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution
(1998) the #1 ranked school in the Country for Dispute
Resolution. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Political
Science from UCF (1995). Prior to that I served in the
United States Navy aboard the USS Enterprise.

As a former prosecutor I have the experience and trial skills necessary

defended 4 co-defendants. During this trial Mr.
Rathel vigorously cross examined the states main witness and was
able to get him to admit that he did not tell the truth and in fact
did not see the alleged crime being committed. All four of Mr.
